Worker Bees, Christmas Trees, and New Babies!
Happy Fall Y'all! Okay, yes, I know it's winter, but sometimes here in Mississippi it feels more like Fall. Actually, sometimes it feels more like summer. For instance: tomorrow we will have a high of 74. 74!!!! Can you believe that? In January? And then by Wednesday, the high will be in the 30's. What the heck?
Anyway. Not much to talk about. Elijah has gone back to school and is doing well. He got his report card Wed. and he had all S's. Which he was quick to tell me stands for satisfactory. He did get a "needs improvement" check beside attentivness. I wonder where he gets that from? As I recall my conduct grade was consistently a "needs improvement" number. (along with some others that I know: kpb, erc, cws) You can figure out your own initials.
I wanted to show you the most recent picutre of the Gunter grandchildren. This one is from Christmas at Mudder's. (This is where the Christmas trees comes into the title.) Check out the matching jammies.

I must also show off my Worker Bees. Last Saturday, Stacey decided it was time to rake up the leaves. (Finally) The boys also decided they needed to rake up the leaves. They got some rakes and shovels that are just their size, so they used them. I think it lasted about 8 minutes, and that may be stretching. But, it made for a cute picture.

And now for the important news: Riley Elizabeth Fisher made her entrance into this world January 3, at 7:02 pm. She was 6 lbs. 1 oz. and 19 1/2 in. long. She is absolutely beautiful. Juli is doing very well now. She developed toxemia and had to stay in the hospital 3 extra days, but everyone's at home now and doing great. The pictures are from the hospital so she's changed a little. I'll get some more this weekend hopefully. Have a great weekend.
